This command rotates the whole object with respect to the XYZ axes, but about the Y axis only, so that the selected vertex, edge or face is rotated to the front.
If a face is selected, the face will be rotated until its normal is parallel to the Y-Z plane. Vertices and edges are rotated on to the Y-Z plane. The object should normally be centered on Y before rotating vertices or edges to the front, but this is not important for faces.
