Print Bitmap command (File Menu)

This command is active only when the 3D View is selected for display.  When the Plan View or Data View are selected it is grayed-out and inactive.  The command invokes the Print Dialog Box in which you select your printer, etc.

The Print Bitmap command prints the current 3D screen in full color, and generally at a higher resolution than the screen.  The current file name is printed at the top left of the image.

If you use a color printer, you can usually obtain greyscale printing by clicking on the ‘Properties’ button in the Print dialog box and then ticking a ‘Greyscale Print’ tick box in the resulting, printer-specific dialog box.  Greyscale printing if much faster, cheaper, and adequate for construction purposes.
