Use this command to open an existing L3DD (.LIG) project file. If you made any changes in a project in the 3D View before using this command L3DD will first ask you if you first want to save those changes:
The Open command displays the File Open Dialog Box.
You can create new projects with the New command.
L3DD looks for the folder ‘C:\Program Files\Ligno3D Systems\Ligno3D Designer\LIG Files’ when initially asked to open a LIG file. If the program has been installed on another disc and/or folder you will need to manually navigate to the correct folder. Once there, however, it will stay in the correct fiolder.
Projects that make use of .bmp texture files expect those files to be present in their original folders (usually the BMP Files folder) when the project is loaded. If not, a message is displayed stating that the texture files can’t be found and the textures in question revert to a plain white color in the 3D View.
