Copy command (Edit menu)

Use this command to copy the currently selected faces and vertices to the paste buffer.  If no selection is current the command is grayed out and unavailable:

The L3DD paste buffer is not the same as the Windows Clipboard

Copying a selection to the paste buffer replaces any selection previously stored there.  All faces are stored as separate entities --- not conjoined.
