Décor refers to colors and textures that can be applied to a project as a whole, or to its individual faces. All décor commands are accessed from the Decor Menu. From L3DD version 3.30 on, décor remains attached during editing and is saved in .LIG project files. Whole-object décor can be combined with individual face décor. For example, a hut with ‘wattle-and-daub’ whole-object décor, can have a corrugated iron décor for its roof faces. Face décor takes precedence over whole-object décor.
Colors, including background color, are selected using a Color Selection Dialog Box that will be familiar to many Windows users. Textures are either selected from the memory-resident textures provided, or from the textures in Windows bitmap files located in the ‘.BMP Files’ folder immediately below the Ligno3d Designer folder (usually C:\Program Files\Ligno3D Systems\Ligno3D Designer\.BMP Files). If you wish to add your own textures files they are best placed in this folder. See Load Texture File.
