Ligno3D Designer (Current Version
3.53) runs on most PC's with Microsoft
Windows®
98, or later, that can run 3D computer games (see
Requirements). When you click on the button below your browser
may respond with a warning about potentially harmful code. This is
the usual response to binary downloads. Rest assured, Ligno3D
Systems has no wish to ruin its reputation by including pathogens in its
software! For your own peace of mind, scan the downloaded file with good antivirus
software.
If you save the downloaded file to the desktop or temp folder, click on file
'Ligno3D Installer.msi' to install the program via Microsoft Installer®
2.0. This runs a wizard that places the program under the Program
Files folder, puts a Shortcut on your Desktop, and inserts a reference in the 'All Programs' menu.
Example files are in the '.LIG' folder, beneath the program folder
(usually C:\Program Files\Ligno3D Systems\Ligno3D Designer\). The
program is removed via the normal Windows uninstall procedure.
Activation File: The downloaded program is the full
version of Ligno3D Designer, but not yet 'activated'.
If it runs correctly on your PC, so will the activated program.
It functions fully with some of the example project files, thus allowing
you to explore all aspects of the program. It also has the full
User Manual/Help System. Other projects can be edited or created,
but you can't take measurements, print plans or save files. For
serious use, buy an activation file from Ligno3D Systems.

If you buy an activation file (which is
a 'rich text file', not a program) you can keep Ligno3D Designer
up to date by downloading the latest versions of the program from this Web site. Your activation file remains potent.
You are welcome to copy the program to
other users, but you can't copy your activation file to others.
